Rage's self-titled album is a powerhouse of heavy metal goodness. The band's unique blend of thrash metal, punk, and hardcore is on full display here, with each track delivering a crushing assault of riffs, solos, and thunderous drums.
The album kicks off with the blistering "Vertigo," a fast-paced headbanger that sets the tone for what's to come. From there, the band never lets up, with tracks like "She Killed and Smiled" and "Wake Me Up" delivering more of the same raw energy.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Invisible Horizons," a slower, more melodic number that showcases the band's ability to write memorable hooks and choruses. The album's closing track, "The Mirror in Your Eyes," is another standout, with its haunting guitar lines and powerful vocals.
