The album URKAOS by Reuerorum Ib Malacht is a stunning display of black metal mastery. From start to finish, the listener is transported into a dark and chaotic world of raw, unbridled aggression.
The opening track "Urkaos" immediately sets the tone with its frenzied blast beats and razor-sharp guitar riffs. Throughout the album, the band seamlessly blends elements of traditional black metal with more experimental sounds, creating a truly unique listening experience.
One standout track is "The Great Black Goat of the Woods," which features haunting atmospheric passages that build to a crescendo of intense aggression. The vocals throughout the album are particularly impressive, ranging from guttural growls to piercing screams.

- URKAOS was recorded and conceived during 11 days in full potential at Urkaos 1350/1762 Studios, Torsång, and the Medieval Church of Torsång, Dalecarlia, Sweden, July 2006.

- Mixed and engineered as well as recorded July-September 2006.
- All translations and interpretations, interpunctuations and blanks inserted from the original scriptura continua from the Latin, August 2006.
- "All years expressed anXpm by reversed Gregorian counting in paradox. No copyright."
- Artist appears as 'Reuerorum ib Malacht + Dödfödd' on spine.
- Track D1/CD10 is a blank track. Both tracks on side D, respectively tracks 10 and 11 of the CD, are not listed in the tracklist.
- CD matrix erroneously has FLAME56CD instead of FLAME65CD as catalog number.

About Reuerorum Ib Malacht
Reverorum Ib Malacht was started Summer 2005 by Karl Hieronymus Emil Lundin and Karl Axel Mikael Mårtensson. The project goes back to earlier experimentations with PTC (Power Trance Chaos).
The three releases titled De Mysteriis Dom Christi are three different releases with completely different music and should not be added to a master release.

If Mortiis had creative control over Emperor in 1994, it would resemble this. Also check out the band Book of Sand, a heavily eerie, medieval styled BM band.

The recording is quite bizarre by today's standarts. It's very pale and muffled at times but beautifully enchanting at the same time. It truly sounds old and dark, i love it.
