About Robert Ward
American guitarist and singer, born 15th of October 1938 in Luthersville, Georgia. Moved to Toledo in 1960 and eventually to Detroit where he did session work for Motown. Died at his home in Dry Branch, Georgia 25th of December 2008.
Robert Ward was lead guitarist of The Falcons and co-founder of the Ohio Untouchables (the earliest incarnation of the ) in the late 1950s/early 1960s. During the 1970s he mostly worked as a session guitarist for .
