Review by Peter Mericka

Cheeseday In Monroe Di Bi Da Bi Luschtig Si is a delightful album that showcases the talents of Rudy Burkhalter and Martha Bernet. The album features a mix of traditional Swiss music and original compositions that are sure to get listeners tapping their toes and humming along.

From the opening track, "Cheeseday in Monroe," to the closing number, "Guggisberglied," the duo's harmonies are tight and their instrumentation is spot-on. Burkhalter's accordion playing is particularly noteworthy, adding a lively and playful energy to the songs.

The album's standout track is "Zäuerli im Sunnebüel," a beautiful and haunting piece that showcases Bernet's stunning vocals. The song is a perfect example of the album's ability to blend traditional Swiss music with modern sensibilities.
