Christopher Bailey's Magnum opus, this is the work of a wickedly gifted song writer in his magnificent prime. 'All Fools Day' is a profoundly introspective love letter to the Apocalypse; twelve evocative paragraphs which encapsulate the seven stages of grief.A Rock 'n' Roll masterpiece for the ages.

I love the fact that music has the ability to evoke memories - the good and the not-so-good. And 'Just Like Fire Would' is one such song for me. On hearing the sad news of Chris's passing, I was reminded of those happy, carefree days of being a young 18-years-old Welshman, a long way from home, cranking up the car stereo and having it blaring out as we drove up the east coast from Sydney to Yepoon in our old Holden Kingswood in March/April 1986. Wonderful days - meeting lovely people while enjoying a beautiful and fantastic country. A great song from a great band. Thanks for the memories mate. (Hope no-one minds, but here's a link to the YouTube video of my single 'Watch and Smile', which is taken from my newly-released album 'Orion's Belt'. Thank you, Wyn Thomas)
