Round The Old Striped Pole, the latest album by Schmitt Brothers, is a delightful collection of folk-inspired tracks that are sure to leave listeners feeling uplifted and nostalgic. The album features a variety of instruments, including guitar, mandolin, banjo, and fiddle, which blend together seamlessly to create a rich and textured sound.

From the opening track, "Down By The River," to the closing number, "Farewell To Old Friends," Round The Old Striped Pole takes listeners on a journey through the heartland of America. The lyrics are simple and heartfelt, evoking images of small towns, rolling hills, and the joys and sorrows of everyday life.

One standout track is "The Ballad Of Johnny Appleseed," a tribute to the legendary folk hero who traveled across the country planting apple trees. The song features a catchy melody and sing-along chorus that is sure to get stuck in your head.
