The Serendipity Singers - Crooked Little Man Dont Let The Rain Come Down

revolute

Review by Andy Sternberg

Serendipity Singers' album "Crooked Little Man Don't Let The Rain Come Down" is a delightful collection of folk-pop tunes that transport listeners to a simpler time. The group's harmonies are tight and polished, and their instrumentation is a perfect blend of acoustic guitars, banjos, and percussion. The album's title track is a standout, with its catchy melody and charming lyrics about a little man who refuses to let the rain get him down. Other highlights include "Beans In My Ears," a playful tune about a man who can't hear his wife's nagging, and "Don't Let The Rain Come Down," a rousing anthem about staying positive in the face of adversity. "Crooked Little Man Don't Let The Rain Come Down" is a must-listen for fans of 1960s folk-pop and anyone looking for a dose of feel-good music.

Means as much now in 2019, as it did in 1964. Strong lyrics that still hold true a half a century later. Now that's great music.

I remember this song from way back when i was 5 years old. Always sang it to myself, however i never knew all the words, just knew the tune and the refrain. Still love it after all these years, and it definitely brings back fond memories.
