Notes
- West German bootleg single. Band credited as "Rotten Boys" on label. EMI credited as record label on the sleeve. Plays at 45RPM, however all tracks are playing too fast. B1 is incomplete.
- A1,B2 in 1989 reissued by Dave Goodman on Pirates Of Destiny (also running too fast - obviously taken from this release but cleaned up and echo added)
- All tracks officially released in mono versions in 1996 on Never Mind The Bollocks/Spunk, on which a reproduction of the front cover of the single was used for the artwork. Stereo versions officially released in 1997 and 1998 on three singles on Man's Ruin Records and subsequently in 2002 Sex Pistols Box Set.
- Artwork uses photos by Ray Stevenson taken from his "Sex Pistols File" book.
- Recorded at Majestic Recording Studios (146 Clapham High Street, London SW4), May 1976. Exact date unknown, most sources claim Saturday 15th, however Nils Stevenson's diary states Wednesday 12th ("Vacant - A Diary Of The Punk Years 1976-79" by Nils Stevenson).
- Producer Chris Spedding: "I'd used the studio when I did the Here Come the Warm Jets album with Eno. And we got the same engineer, Derek Chandler." (from: Clinton Heylin: "Never Mind The Bollocks - The Sex Pistols. Classic Rock Albums", Schirmer Books 1998, pages 14-15)
- Re-issue of the 1980 release. While the original edition comes in a manufactured sleeve of thicker paper,
- this version has just a folded wraparound sleeve of thinner paper.
- The Re-issue record labels are also a thinner paper with the vinyl visible through the paper the original issue has solid white labels that you can't see through.

About Sex Pistols
The most famous (and infamous) band of the late 70s British punk scene. Their rebellious image combined with a commercial sound (partly thanks to producer Chris Thomas) created some of the most memorable moments of the 70s - both musical and otherwise. Line-up: Johnny Rotten (John Lydon, b. January 31, 1956 - vocals), Steve Jones (b. September 3, 1955 - guitar), Glen Matlock (b. August 27, 1956 - bass) and Paul Cook (b. July 20, 1956 - drums). In February 1977, Matlock was replaced by Sid Vicious (John Ritchie aka John Beverley, b. May 10, 1957). The band effectively split up after their 1978 US tour, although Jones and Cook continued to record under the name for another year or so.
The original line-up reformed in 1996 for a series of concert tours, and has played live shows off and on since then, and released live recordings.
