Shades of Liberty, the fourth studio album by British rock band Silent Running, is a powerful and emotional journey that showcases the band's growth and maturity. Silent Running are a Belfast-based rock band who have released three albums on EMI and Atlantic Records: 'Shades of Liberty', 'Walk on Fire', and 'Deep'. Silent Running released their fourth album 'Follow the Light' in April 2022. Band line-up: Peter Gamble (vocals), Tony Scott (guitar), Richard Collett (bass), Paul Rocks (keyboards), and Gary Kirby (drums).

Theory has it, they were confused with Simple Minds with the name of an album from another successful artist, Mike + The Mechanics. Another very obscure band is The Fountainhead, who are also like Simple Minds.
