Review by Vinay Kumar

Jāņugunis Midsummer Fires by STandART is a unique and captivating album that showcases the band's musical talents and creativity. From the opening track, "Krustiņš," to the closing song, "Jāņugunis," the album takes listeners on a journey through a range of emotions and moods.

The album's sound is a fusion of electronic and rock music, with elements of traditional Latvian folk music woven throughout. STandART's use of traditional instruments, such as the kokle and the bagpipes, adds a distinct flavor to the music and creates a sense of cultural authenticity.

One standout track on the album is "Mēness Debesīs," which features haunting vocals and a mesmerizing melody that transports the listener to another world. Another highlight is "Karavīrs," a high-energy track that combines rock guitar riffs with electronic beats and traditional Latvian percussion.
