Giving Ground is the third album by the Syrian band, Syria. Released in 2010, it features a unique blend of electronic and traditional Arabic music. The album has been praised for its haunting melodies and emotional depth.
The opening track, "Ahlam," sets the tone for the album with its hypnotic rhythms and haunting vocals. "Ana Wel Lail" is another standout track, showcasing the band's ability to blend traditional Arabic music with modern electronic beats.
The album also features collaborations with other artists, including the Lebanese singer, Tania Saleh. Her vocals add a beautiful layer to the track "Layla."
