Tunnel Club - Exit Space

Review by Scott Simmerman

Exit Space, the latest album by Tunnel Club, is a mesmerizing journey through the depths of electronic music. From the opening track "Dream Sequence" to the closing "Echoes in the Void", the album is a non-stop adventure of pulsating beats, hypnotic melodies, and otherworldly soundscapes.

Tunnel Club, the brainchild of British musician Stephen Lawrie, has been a mainstay in the underground electronic scene for over two decades. With Exit Space, Lawrie continues to push the boundaries of his craft, exploring new sonic territories while staying true to his signature sound.

The album is a masterclass in atmospheric electronica, with tracks like "Gravity Well" and "The Last Exit" transporting the listener to other dimensions. The use of vintage synths and analog equipment gives the album a warm, organic feel, while the intricate production and attention to detail create a sense of depth and complexity.

Though primarily instrumental, the album features a few vocal tracks, including "Aurora" and "Spacewalk". These songs add an extra layer of emotion and humanity to the otherwise otherworldly soundscape.
