U2 - Achtung Baby Demos

Review by Rory Thomson

Achtung Baby Demos by U2 is a fascinating collection of early recordings that offers fans a glimpse into the creative process of one of the world's most iconic bands. The album features raw, unpolished versions of the songs that would eventually become the critically acclaimed Achtung Baby, as well as a few tracks that never made it onto the final release.

Despite the fact that these are demo recordings, the quality of the production is surprisingly good. The songs are stripped down and often feature different arrangements and lyrics than the versions that fans are familiar with, giving them a fresh perspective on the album.

Standout tracks include "Until the End of the World," which features a haunting guitar riff and Bono's signature vocals, and "Acrobat," which showcases the band's ability to create powerful and emotionally charged music.
