As I slowly have to watch my Dad succumb to dementia this beautiful music takes me back to wonderful childhood memories just sitting in the living room with both Mum and Dad crying with laughter while this was on. When they were younger than I am now and seemed invincible to me.

I grew up in the 90's I often remember watching this, last of the summer wine, only fools and of course Red dwarf. I'm blown away by how far it reached for some people here in the comments. This sort of show wasn't funny for my mum but I certainly had a good giggle. I remember laying in the caravan watching this on my own on one of the long settee's that turned into the bed on the table end - I remember being in "Boys Brigade" and telling a lady that ran it "I wish I was older" she SCOLDED me and said "When you are older trust me you will regret you ever said that" and she definitely wasn't wrong.
