Do you think that the y.tube render is fully representative? I like the syncretism that appears, anyway, in the y.tube album, it has an organic openness that in a way seams as a fortresses village where you have to remind the direction of meaning of every side to explore the futuristic mood in the whole.

They remind me more of Shorter and Zawinul's Weather Report - kindred spirits, more likely, than that of Frank Zappa's Mothers and some ECM acts that the Wyatt-Hopper-Ratledge era Soft Machine are often compared to. Ratledge saying adios to hippie music and getting serious with some pure jazz at least for a while.

Wyatt's last album with them, I always wonder if he hadn't had his accident wether he would ever have played with them again, so glad I was able to see this incarnation of the band, and indeed the previous three piece many times in sixties and seventies London, R I P Hugh Hopper ....
