She has such a beautiful voice ?

Wow ❤

Keely Smith had such a beautiful voice. It is painful to watch these old acts with Louis Prima. He wasn't very talented, and his mugging for the audience is like watching one of the Three Stooges perform. Keely was better than that.

I LOVED THAT GROUP, FROM MY EARLY YEARS I WORE OUT THEIR ALBUMS!!!

I understand that these two were great singers but this performance, to my ears is horrible. They are screaming the song, not pronouncing the words in the right cadence. Either they are rushing the words or singing too slow. Just a horrible rendition of a great song., but that is their right I suppose. But also my right not to listen.

Thank you for the footage of Keely Smith and Louie Prima from 1959 in "living color" on NBC-TV (I'm guessing it's from The Plymouth Show with Steve Allen). Yes, those two made a great pair making great music together. Love to hear them do That Ole Black Magic. From a time we'll never see again.

My musician friends, sharing their favorite hip bands. They look at me. "So what do you like?"... Well, this.

Added Louie and Keely to my playlist in 1962.....have loved their talent since that day ...made sure my son heard their music...he considers it a living gift .
