The lyrics are very relevant for the time. This was all a part of the build up that finally lead to the release Nelson Mandela and the fall of apartheid. We could do with more music like this now but I'm afraid we are spoon fed X-Factor sh*t by the media. What chance a song like Free Nelson Mandela by The Specials hitting the charts these days?

SOUTH AFRICA prijemná pieseň WORKING WEEK so spevom Julie Roberts s druhého albumu skupiny s názvom COMPANEROS, ktorý sa na týždeň od 27. septembra 1986 objavil na 72.m. rebríčka v UK.Skladbu zdobí solo na trombon v podaní Richarda Edwardsa. Working Week v roku 1983 vytvorili bývalí členovia skupiny Weekend Simon Emmerson alias Booth gitara a speváčka Alison Statton, ktorá predtým v Cardife pôsobila v skupine Young Marble Giants.Dvojicu doplnil jazzový saxofonista Larry Stabbins. Po odchode Statton sa v nej vystriedalo niekoľko speváčok až prvý album Working Nights naspievala Juliet Roberts, ktorá spievala aj v tejto piesni a na albume SURRENDER z roku 1987.
