Review by Terrence S. Jennings

Yoshihide Sodeoka's album "Video Metal" is a visual and auditory masterpiece. The album features a unique blend of heavy metal and experimental electronic music that is sure to captivate listeners. The tracks are accompanied by stunning visuals that add an extra layer of depth to the music.

The album opens with "Metallic Universe," a track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Notes

  • Video Metal unleashes Yoshihide Sokeoka's (aka C505) frenetic and bastardized analog video compositions in conjunction with his insidiously maniacal guitar work into a form that will obliterate your senses. Proceed with caution as reposrted cases confirm that Sodeoka's distrorted Video Metal deities have been reaching through the screen and melting viewers on site.

Magazine, Res, IdN, Artbyte), DVDs (Nike Presto Spirit of Movement, Reline 2, RUGA), web sites (Whitney Museum's Artport, Turbulence.org, Rhizome. org, Wired.com) and exhibitions across the world (New York city's Deitch Projects, London's OneDotZero, Portland's Floating World Animation Fest, Boston's Lumen Eclipse, Barcelona's Sonar Festival, Haifa museum Israel, San Sebastian’s GlasKultur, The Creative Time Holiday Light Show at New York’s Grand Central Terminal, Berlin's Transmediale, Poland's Krakow Film Festival, WNET Reel NY). That artist is soo cool...Followed loads of his stuff on the internet and that man has some reeaal soul and fantasy. He knows how to implement abstract thoughts and emotions into art.

lol bro, I never went for those, I stick with my beautiful greens and browns. The only thing that ever gave me a paranoid trip was that relatively new shit. I fucking hate it. Some sort of synthetic THC. It got real popular when there was nothing else for the potheads on the streets cause it wasn't illegal at the time so it was easier to get. You know it? Anyways, the trip it gave me was insane, I thought I was dying. I was imagining my friends getting rid of me so they don't get caught using XD
