The album "Поэзия М Ю Лермонтова В Песнях И Романсах" by Мария Петровна Максакова, Андрей Иванов, Сергей Лемешев, Надежда Казанцева, Александр Пирогов is a beautiful tribute to the works of the famous Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov. The album features a collection of songs and romances inspired by Lermontov's poetry, performed by some of the most talented classical singers of their time.

The album opens with Maria Petrovna Maksakova's rendition of "Бородино", a powerful and emotional tribute to the famous battle of Borodino. Her voice carries the weight of the lyrics with ease, and her performance is both captivating and moving.

Andrey Ivanov's interpretation of "Смерть поэта" is equally impressive, with his rich baritone voice perfectly capturing the melancholic mood of Lermontov's poem. Similarly, Sergey Lemeshev's performance of "Когда же ты, мой ангел" is hauntingly beautiful, with his soaring tenor voice adding a sense of longing to the lyrics.

Nadezhda Kazantseva's rendition of "На севере диком" is another standout track, with her clear and powerful soprano voice bringing the vivid imagery of Lermontov's poem to life. And finally, Alexander Pirogov's performance of "Мцыри" is a fitting tribute to Lermontov's most famous work, with his deep and resonant voice perfectly capturing the tragic heroism of the poem.
