Review by Federico Chigbuh Gasparini

247, the latest album by Absynthe Minded, is an eclectic mix of styles and genres that showcases the band's versatility and musicianship. The album features 11 tracks that range from upbeat, catchy pop-rock to more introspective, melancholic ballads.

The opening track, "Beam," sets the tone for the album with its driving rhythm, catchy melody, and infectious chorus. It's a feel-good song that immediately grabs the listener's attention and invites them to sing along.

Other standout tracks on the album include "Mixing the Medicine," a bluesy, soulful number with a memorable hook, "Surrender," a haunting ballad that showcases frontman Bert Ostyn's emotive vocals, and "Endless Future," a funky, upbeat track with a groovy bassline and catchy guitar riffs.

Throughout the album, Absynthe Minded demonstrates their mastery of different styles and sounds, seamlessly blending elements of rock, pop, blues, and folk into a cohesive and compelling whole. The arrangements are tight and polished, with each instrument serving a purpose and contributing to the overall sound.
