About The Albion Band
The Albion Band was an English folk rock band. Originally used as a name to credit the musicians hired to accompany in 1971, the Albion Band later became a group in their own right. Bass player , who had previously founded and left both and , is the driving force behind this group. The members use acoustic and electric instruments to create a folk-rock sound something like Fairport Convention's.
They initially called themselves The Albion Country Band, then The Albion Dance Band and finally simply The Albion Band.
