Hearts, the ninth studio album by the American rock band America, was released in 1975. The album features a blend of acoustic and electric guitar sounds, harmonious vocals, and introspective lyrics that have become the band's signature style.
The album opens with "Daisy Jane," a catchy and upbeat track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. From there, the band takes listeners on a journey through a range of emotions, from the bittersweet "Lonely People" to the introspective "Sister Golden Hair."
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Company," a hauntingly beautiful song that showcases the band's ability to create a mood with just a few simple chords. The track is a perfect example of America's unique blend of folk, rock, and pop.
