Review by Rob Pickup

The Moon Is Puce by Atrix is a unique and captivating album that showcases the band's versatility and creativity. The album features a blend of different genres, including rock, pop, and electronic, creating a sound that is both fresh and familiar.

The opening track, "The Moon Is Puce," sets the tone for the album with its haunting melody and powerful vocals. From there, the album takes the listener on a journey through a range of emotions and moods, from the upbeat and playful "Dancing in the Dark" to the introspective and melancholic "Fading Away."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Lost in Time," a haunting ballad that showcases the band's ability to create a sense of atmosphere and mood. The track features beautiful instrumentation, including piano and strings, that perfectly complement the emotive vocals.

I went to school with John and hung out for a while. Was talking to my son about music and John and the Moon is Puce just popped into my bringing back fond memories. I'm sure John is still singing albeit to a heavenly audience. May he rest in peace.

This song came into my head yesterday, about a million years after I last heard it. So good to hear it again and even remember a lot of the lyrics. Great song!
