A side project founded by Eyehategod members Mike Williams and Phil Anselmo (as a touring guitarist) and country/metal maniac Hank Williams III, Arson Anthem released just a 31-minutes debut album, Insecurity Notoriety, in 2010, after a 2008 EP. The music style alternates between triton-driven cerebral Grindcore a la Cephalic Carnage, the songwriting lasciviousness and breakdowns of Eyehategod, the schizophrenic multi-stylistic excursions of Soilent Green and the vigor of Napalm Death (though not reaching similar levels of speed, despite rare blast-beats). The only thing this album may be worth for is for finally having one release where to understand William's screamed lyrics. and, unfortunately, they aren't much worth reading or meaningful ("Hands off / Black and white / Kill the light / Degradation / Soul after expiration", "Paying debt to liberty / In the hole you quarantined / Strife... / If you think that its bad now / In here it gets no better", "The holy order is disorder / Awkward silence / Reserved to the fact / Black around the eyes / Stubborn last words / Teach the gun to love the bullet / Point blank range / Can you pull it?").
