No es "nuevo tango" --- Es Tango, tiene grela de tango, tristeza y exaltación de tango, amor desilusión, garúa, estaño. Es un tango crecido y tan inmenso como Beethoven o Ravel. Gracias a Piazzolla, Buenos Aires siempre tendrá música aunque ya no tenga arrabal y malevaje. No le digan música de Buenos Aires o Nuevo Tango, díganle tango porque se fue, llenó el mundo, fascinó en todos lados y no solo en París y volvió universal. Piazzolla es al tango lo que Gershwin es al jazz, lo que Vila-Lobos es al fascinante mundo musical de Brasil. Escuchen bien a Piazzolla,, la escencia del tango está ahí como dijo Borges: ""Esos tangos de Arolas y de Greco / que yo he visto bailar en la vereda". Gracias a Astor el tango ahora es tan inmortal como aquellos tangos que Borges recordaba.
