Una delle canzoni piu belle che abbia mai ascoltato.

Just found this band and I am incredibly moved by this song.

I wonder if Robert Pollard is a fan? Late era GBV holds some serious similarities in melody and guitar sound.

I actually bought the Carvin Bass amp they used from a small NYC guitar shop. Still have it

Been a huge fan of BoS since the nineties when they actually had three women named Susan in the band!

I just discovered Band of Susans. They sort of remind me of Morella's Forest. If you like Band of Susans, you'll probably like Morella's Forest, too.

"Sometimes I lose a day without a trace. A veil of shadows falls across my face. My vision fades. But I see you clearly, as you walk away. I see you clearly, as you walk away." xob!

I remember Susan as a very pretty, feminine woman but on stage she just wore a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers, she looked like some wild boy. This group had excellent female members such as Annie, too, this was a great "guitar band" and it was like watching a small tornado on stage when they played, everyone was moving around and it was this massive wall of sound.

I had heard of female rockers, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett but where in blazes was Susan Stenger, she's AWESOME!!! Maybe its because growin' up in the beehive state, them LDS'ers practiced censureship on certain groups, like the IRIE Reggae groups, i had no idea they existed 'til '83 when i came down south to mexico,...many thanx for the share Beautiful! =)

He is also a nice, decent person. He is very kind. Oh, a little gossip -- his apartment in NY was like out of a James Bond movie. That was a fully functioning babelair. He just always had this damp, rotten towel in the bathroom, how I teased him! I was homeless for a bit and he let me couch surf, he didn't judge me, this guy is a honey.

I knew both Robert Poss and Susan Stenger and it was magic what they did, you cannot believe how good this group was live. They had almost no fans, it was sad. This is probably my fave song -- Susan wrote it.

For some reason, I didn't care for their early recordings. For me, they then bloomed and I was floored by the power of this group, recorded and live. It was great to turn people on to them. This song always gets me weepy. I really encourage people to find any of their recordings. Shared and favorited.

In many ways, this is my favorite song they did -- best one about depression I think I've ever heard. Awesome group live. Was a pleasure to know and to boost them. Shared. Favorited.

Great band. I saw them in the UK opening for Throwing Muses in 1989. Mad coincidence... today I bought a copy of "The Master & Margarita" for a friend's birthday... then I get home thinking about Band of Susans... there must be some kind of cosmic connection :)
