I saw Janis Joplin behind the bar in Virginia doing karaoke singing me and Bobby McGee. it may not have been her in person but her spirit definitely was being channeled through that barmaid. I mean if you close your eyes you would swear Janis Joplin was still alive serving drinks in a bar outside of naval Air station oceana in Virginia Beach.

This is the first time I've ever heard this song. I've always been a sort of "surface" fan of Janis, in the sense that I've liked a handful of her songs and who she seemed to be as a person, but with every "new" song I hear, I'm always blown away by how talented she was and how good the song in general is. This song is no different?.
