The album CHEZ LE COIFFEUR by BOUTIQUE CHIC is a delightful blend of French pop, disco and funk that will transport listeners to the chicest hair salon in Paris. The band's smooth and sultry vocals, coupled with their funky instrumentation, make for a truly enjoyable listening experience.
The album kicks off with "Le Coiffeur," a catchy and upbeat track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. From there, the band takes listeners on a journey through various styles and moods, from the disco-infused "Funky Hair" to the dreamy "Cocktail d'Amour."
One of the standout tracks on the album is "La Vie en Rose," a soulful and romantic ballad that showcases the band's impressive vocal range. The track is a beautiful tribute to the classic Edith Piaf song of the same name, and the band does it justice with their own unique spin.

- Paying homage to the graphic design style of the 1950’s, the retro-futurism and very 'French' elegance of the sleeve has been concocted by Restez Vivants, craftsmen who could happily inhabit Jacques Tati’s parallel universe. Chris Joss is the man responsible for Brilliantine A Go-Go, a subtle cocktail of disco, house and hypnotic string loops. Next up is Minimatic, who, from his Ministudio, invites us to dance to La Raie O Milieu (Centre Parting), an electro cha-cha featuring an irresistible Jean-Jacques Perrey style organ riff, and, no… it can’t be…, he plays the rhythm on a comb! Like a guiro!! Meanwhile, from a Top Secret HQ in Montreuil, Le Grand David cooks up old-school, groovy, funk R ’n’ B style recipes like Bigoudis Party (Hair-Curlers Party), to massage the scalp with its teasing clavinet riff. And finally, Georges Deligny, aka Thomas Deligny, aka Concorde Music Club, aka The Scarlet Pimpernel, aka Arsène Lupin, master of disguise, bombards us with Panique au Salon (Panic at the Salon), an explosive mixture of big beat and electro-mambo with special “scissors” percussion (recorded when Georges re-styled Minimatic – hence the panic at the salon…), and heady vocals which sum up the spirit of the venture:
