Listening to this album brought back so many happy memories when punk was vibrant,& original. The Boys were always one of the very best,& i always wondered why they were overlooked.Every song is a nice 3 minute Pop single which hasn't diminished over the years.

Know what? I can't remember seeing any posts of this London based punk band that formed in 1976. Of course it's possible there have been songs posted on G+ but I just missed them. Willie does not have a double like Don Juan and cannot be everywhere at all times. So let's dig into the Boys with six songs. They released a single and an e.p. in 1977 and then a full album on August 1, 1977. Five of the six songs we'll hear were included on that eponymous LP. As far as the sound quality goes, it is hit or miss. Some songs sound good while others are marred by poor production. Sick On You is the opening song on their debut album.

GREAT. Period.

For sure, 77punk we're more willing to acknowledge the bands that preceded them Like Beatles, kinks, stones, while after 77 punk became less concerned with melody and became more concerned with a certain type of image and guitar distortion focused on distancing itself as far from what mainstream radio would consider playing for an hour. Radio would play the Boys but never the Exploited.

I don't know if the boys are really so much street rock because cocksparrer addresses definitely more working class, the boys address more adolescents so I think school rock is more fitting or tenement rock.

got to admit, I,d expect it from her indoors,, romance is still alive.
