Wanted to come back after years of listening to this album just to dunk on a comment left 7 years ago so that its never forgotten. It was by none other than inxy, an obnoxious tripcode user who also runs a notoriously pseud youtube channel, who made a post that went something like "post your shitty album on /mu/ and any anon will start following". It must really hurt to know that this album is now considered a cultural landmark of the 2010s while you're still jerking off to death grips and that awful new avalanches record alone in your apartment, a$$hole

listened to this for the first time 10 years ago and it's never left me... I have a tattoo of masked dancers due to the impact TBLA has left on me and I would get one of this album if I could find an appropriate artist; legendary albums that speaks to the reclusive, rebellious, angst-ridden sides of me that i think will always exist

A pudgy middle aged man with a shaven face wearing a blue shirt and a black jacket zipper almost to the top looks down with discontent written on his face as he stands in front of a local grocery store. A soda dispenser can be seen in the background in front of the shop.

I wrote this one off initially due to hating the vocalist's voice, but I came back later and actually gave the album a proper listen.

And it DEMOLISHED me. I was in tears. This album is one of the most emotional, heartfelt, genuinely vulnerable projects I think I've ever listened to.
I haven't been through almost any of what the album describes, and yet it still HURT. A direct transfer of all the heartache from artist to listener.

For anyone even somewhat interested in the genre, this is a must-listen. Period.
