Review by Jodi Mock Wolfe

Byron Lee and the Dragonaires' album 1812 Wedding March is a captivating and energetic collection of tracks that showcases the band's exceptional musicianship and creativity. The album features a mix of classic wedding march tunes, including the iconic 1812 Overture, as well as original compositions that blend traditional Caribbean rhythms with contemporary pop and jazz influences.

The band's vibrant and dynamic performances are a testament to their years of experience and dedication to their craft. From the lively brass section to the infectious percussion, each instrument shines on this album and adds to the overall sense of joy and celebration.

One standout track is "Wedding March Medley," which seamlessly weaves together several beloved wedding march melodies into a joyful and upbeat arrangement. Another highlight is "Jamaican Wedding Song," an original composition that infuses reggae and ska elements into a romantic ballad.
