Miles Bonny's latest album, Lumberjack Soul, is a refreshing blend of soul, jazz, and hip-hop. The album features a mix of original tracks and covers, all showcasing Bonny's smooth vocals and impressive musicianship.
The album opens with the upbeat and funky "Yes I Do," which immediately sets the tone for the rest of the record. Bonny's vocals are smooth and soulful, and the instrumentation is tight and groovy. Other standout tracks include the jazzy "J Birly" and the soulful "I Bring You Love."
Bonny also covers a few classic tracks on the album, including Stevie Wonder's "Too High" and Bob Marley's "Waiting in Vain." While these tracks may not be as strong as the original versions, Bonny's interpretation is still enjoyable and showcases his range as an artist.
