Cavity - Wounded

Review by Seth Rubenstein

Cavity's album, Wounded, is a blistering and intense journey through the darkest corners of heavy music. From the opening track, "Supercollider," the band wastes no time in unleashing a barrage of crushing riffs and pummeling rhythms.

Throughout the album, Cavity's sound is characterized by a raw, unbridled energy that is both exhilarating and terrifying. The vocals, delivered with a guttural snarl, are at times almost indecipherable, but the sheer force of the delivery is enough to convey the emotion and intensity of the lyrics.

While the album is undeniably heavy, there is also a sense of experimentation and exploration that sets it apart from other bands in the genre. The use of ambient textures and unexpected shifts in tempo and tone keep the listener on their toes, never quite knowing what to expect next.

Summary by Seth Rubenstein

Wounded is a powerful and uncompromising statement from a band at the top of their game. It may not be for the faint of heart, but for those who are willing to embrace the darkness, it is a truly rewarding experience.
