French disco-electro songwriter, producer, label manager, arranger and drummer.
Born May 24, 1952 in Vitry-sur-Seine, Paris, France.
Father of , brother of .
At aged 18 he became musical director of the "Club Mediterranée" vacation clubs / holiday resorts.
In 1972, he formed and lead , with several hits and a very lucrative contract with the French label .
Cerrone went solo in 1976. The same year, he also created the group that he still manages.
Since, he has released over 25 solo albums, including soundtracks.
With , and , Cerrone is amongst the most pivotal figures of the Euro disco sound.

Howdy Sookie, we survived Covid , hope you are doing well ! The years have flown by, but I am still a BIG fan of Laura. I have met the man doing the keyboards here (Geoff Downes of ASIA fame), he is a great guy, a true professional musician. Perhaps Laura left this rock at the right time, things sure are going to heck in a handbasket in a Big Hurry these days!!!
