I've always said CR started rock-n-roll in the UK and people laughed at me, this is 1960, the Beatles were still at school, the stones were just pebbles, the animals were all puppies and Ozzy Osborne was still breastfeeding. he might still be doing that but we won't talk about that here. . . I'd only heard The Beatles do this tune on various bootlegs, but didn't realize, 'til I read in Tune In Vol.1 The Beatles All These Years, that Cliff Richard had a big hit with it, so I Googled the tune, found the You Tube video, and, wow, much cooler than Elvis. I'm from Nashville, so I was force fed Elvis all my life, and while I love all that REAL ROCK AND ROLL he did before going into the army, after that, he was nothing but an embarrassing fatClown, dying on the toilet. Ha ha ha.
