Review by Pedro Pablo García Martínez

Cousin Ray's album Seven Beers With The Wrong Woman Im So Lonesome I Could Cry is a raw and emotional journey through heartbreak and loneliness. The album features a mix of traditional country sounds with modern twists, showcasing the band's versatility and skill.

The title track, "Seven Beers With The Wrong Woman," sets the tone for the album with its haunting lyrics and mournful melody. The song captures the pain of a broken heart and the desperation of trying to numb the pain with alcohol and bad decisions.

Other standout tracks include "The Bottle Let Me Down" and "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," which both showcase the band's ability to take classic country songs and make them their own. The album also features some upbeat tracks, such as "Honky Tonk Man" and "Jambalaya," which provide a welcome break from the sadness and heartache of the other songs.

This is pretty cool. I'll keep a look out for Early Bird 45s now. My PawPaw lived on Parsons Ave for about 50 years, I have to imagine he may have bought records at Early Bird Record store!
