Rock N Soul Part I is the fifth studio album by the American duo Daryl Hall & John Oates, released in 1983. The album features a collection of their biggest hits from the 1970s, remastered and re-recorded with a more contemporary sound.
The album opens with "Say It Isn't So," a catchy pop-rock tune that showcases Hall's soulful vocals and Oates' guitar skills. The album also includes their classic hits "Sara Smile," "She's Gone," and "Rich Girl," which have been given a fresh new sound with updated production.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)," a funky R&B number that features a smooth bassline and catchy chorus. The track was a massive hit for the duo, reaching the top of the charts and becoming one of their signature songs.
Another highlight of the album is "You Make My Dreams," a joyful pop song that features Hall's falsetto vocals and a catchy chorus that is impossible not to sing along to. The track has been featured in numerous films and TV shows, cementing its status as a classic pop song.
