I always thought the album release for this song was badly mixed. The vocals stand out wonderfully, but the backing instrumental suffers greatly for it. There's just no UMPH! The film version is clearly audible all around, including the instrumentation, but here, it's just so washed out and muddy. Snare is dull, kick is almost none existed, bass is cloudy, even the guitar is buried under the surface. I dunno. It's always bothered me.
