Destructors - ReligionThere Is No Religion

Review by José Ignacio Gallego Santos

Destructors' latest album, Religion There Is No Religion, is a powerful and intense collection of punk rock anthems that will leave listeners breathless. The band's signature sound is on full display here, with razor-sharp guitars and thunderous drums driving each track forward.

From the opening notes of "Searching for the Truth," it's clear that Destructors are firing on all cylinders. The song's driving rhythm and catchy chorus set the tone for the rest of the album, which is filled with similarly high-energy tracks. "Religion There Is No Religion" is a standout, with its blistering guitar solos and urgent vocals urging listeners to reject dogma and think for themselves.

But it's not all speed and aggression; tracks like "End of Days" and "The Last Goodbye" showcase the band's ability to write powerful ballads that are just as emotionally resonant as their faster material. And throughout the album, the band's lyrics are as thought-provoking as they are catchy, touching on themes of social justice, personal freedom, and the struggle against oppressive systems.
