Dodgy's latest album, Found You, is a testament to the band's enduring talent and musical prowess. From start to finish, the album is a joyous celebration of life, love, and all the ups and downs that come with it.

The album's opening track, "What Became of You," sets the tone for the rest of the record with its catchy hooks and upbeat tempo. From there, the album takes listeners on a journey through a variety of musical styles and moods, from the bouncy pop of "You Give Drugs a Bad Name" to the introspective balladry of "Every Time We Say Goodbye."

Throughout the album, Dodgy's musicianship shines through, with each member contributing their own unique style to the overall sound. The band's signature harmonies are also on full display, adding an extra layer of depth and emotion to the songs.

Despite its many strengths, Found You is not without its flaws. Some of the tracks feel a bit formulaic, and there are moments where the band leans too heavily on their tried-and-true sound. However, these minor quibbles are easily overshadowed by the album's overall quality and infectious energy.

About Dodgy

UK indie-pop band, formed in 1990 in Hounslow. After Nigel left to record solo and pursue other interests in 2002, the band carried on with a new singer and additional guitarist. Dodgy "Mk. II" were short-lived and the band split up soon after, with Andy and Matt pursuing other interests and joining other bands and "supergroups". In 2009 the original lineup got back together for a week-long run of gigs at the Barfly in Camden and toured their comeback album in the winter of 2011 and throughout 2012, including a tour of the highlands and islands of Scotland.

In the end, Found You is a standout album from a band that has been making music for over three decades. Dodgy's ability to create catchy, memorable songs that stick with listeners long after the last note has faded is on full display here, and fans of the band will not be disappointed.

I seem to remember the proper video for this song was set in the snow - perhaps filmed at the same location as this?
