Don Powell, the legendary drummer for Slade, has released a new album titled "Deep River Un Recital Di Don Powell." The album features 14 tracks, all of which showcase Powell's exceptional drumming skills and his ability to create a unique sound that blends rock, blues, and jazz.
The album opens with the title track "Deep River," a slow bluesy number that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Powell's drumming is understated but powerful, providing the perfect foundation for the song. The next track, "Big Fat Mama," is a rollicking rock number that showcases Powell's ability to drive a song forward with his drums.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Let Me Be Your Loving Man," a soulful ballad that features Powell's vocals for the first time. His singing is surprisingly good, and his voice blends perfectly with the instrumentation.
