Me and my best online friend got into an argument this September. I think it was the tension building in between us. I tried apologizing as sincerely as I could, I really tried. I thought he would apologise too. He didn't have to compare me to someone we both disliked. He didn't have to write that long painful message that I could only respond to by leaving him and our small little groups we had. Nothing's been the same ever since. It pained me going into the games we both played, it pained me listening to the same old songs that reminded me of him, hell it still hurts till this day. I can't move on. All these dreams I have about him make it worse. In them we are still friends, still the same old jokes and laughs. In the evenings I long for the day he reaches out to me and tells me that he is sorry.
