In A Dutch Haze is a collaborative album between two heavy rock bands, Earthless and Heavy Blanket. The album features four tracks, each showcasing the impressive musicianship and improvisational skills of the bands.
The album opens with "Earthless Meets Heavy Blanket", a 20-minute jam session that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The track is a perfect blend of the two bands' styles, with Earthless' psychedelic sound and Heavy Blanket's heavy riffs and distorted guitar solos.
The second track, "Paradise in a Purple Sky", is a slower and more melodic piece that allows the listener to catch their breath after the intense opening track. The guitar work on this track is particularly impressive, with intricate solos and soaring melodies.
The third track, "The Flower Travellin' Man", is a cover of a song by the Japanese rock band Flower Travellin' Band. Earthless and Heavy Blanket put their own spin on the song, adding their signature sound and energy to the already classic track.
The album closes with "Lenny's Jam", a 15-minute epic that showcases the bands' improvisational skills. The track starts off slow and mellow before building up to a frenzied and chaotic climax.
