Echo & The Bunnymen - Flowers

Review by enbolivia.com srl.

Echo & The Bunnymen's album Flowers is a captivating and dynamic release that showcases the band's distinct blend of post-punk, new wave, and psychedelic rock. The album features a range of powerful and emotive tracks, from the driving opener "King of Kings" to the haunting ballad "Flowers." The band's signature sound is on full display throughout, with Ian McCulloch's vocals soaring over Will Sergeant's intricate guitar work and the propulsive rhythms of bassist Les Pattinson and drummer Pete de Freitas.

One standout track on the album is "Nothing Lasts Forever," which features a soaring chorus and a memorable guitar riff that will stick with listeners long after the song has ended. Another highlight is "Life Goes On," a moody and atmospheric track that showcases the band's ability to create a sense of tension and drama with their music.

This album wouldn't look out of place alongside the first 4. Definitely sits at the table with Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here etc. Up the Mighty Bunnymen

Las guitarras de Sergeant en este álbum son extremadamente hipnóticas. De alguna forma se acercan al sonido de Nick McCabe. Genios ambos.

Criminally underappreciated, like most of Echo!

Takes my memory back to the start of the new millenium inside a record bar with a listening station providing free access to newly released CD's. Hearing songs & floating amidst the lake of recorded materials on racks alphabetically arranged according to names of bands & artists.

All EATB albums are greatness. I like listening to the lesser known albums - Flowers, Siberia, Evergreen etc. They are all fantastic in their own way.
