Collage, the album by Eddie Drennon & The B B S Unlimited, is a soulful and funky journey through the sounds of the 1970s. The album features a mix of original compositions and covers, all played with an infectious energy and groove.
From the opening track "Collage" to the closing "Let's Do The Latin Hustle", the album never lets up in its quest to get listeners up and dancing. The band's tight rhythm section and Drennon's soaring saxophone solos are particularly impressive, adding an extra layer of excitement to already catchy tunes.
One of the standout tracks is the band's cover of "Do It Again", originally by Steely Dan. The B B S Unlimited give the song a fresh and funky twist, with Drennon's saxophone leading the charge. Another standout is "Happiness Is Just Around The Bend", a song that has been covered by numerous artists but never quite like this. The band's version is full of energy and positivity, making it impossible not to smile along.
