Just rediscovered this song after about 15 years of not hearing it and knew every word. I immediately remembered people, sights, smells, and stories from that time that I had completely forgotten about. Music is a beautiful thing.

If you listen to the lyrics... it tells the story of a man who's in love with his mistress. He wnt to be with her but has someone already. But he ends up hurting his mistress and losing his woman also. So now his house is in ruin and want things to go back to the way they were before... before he lost his woman. At least that's what I got. Good story

Good god. This song is just too good. It's a loss to humanity that The Elected is some kind of "side project". I have had so many wonderfull times listening to their music.
