Review by ze carvalho

Electric Sun's self-titled album is a masterful display of instrumental virtuosity and progressive rock experimentation. Led by the guitar wizardry of Uli Jon Roth, the album showcases a range of styles and influences, from the psychedelic blues of "Sunburst" to the epic symphonic scope of "Earthquake". Roth's playing is both technically impressive and emotionally expressive, weaving intricate melodies and soaring solos throughout each track. The rhythm section of Clive Edwards on drums and Ule Ritgen on bass provides a solid foundation for Roth's flights of fancy, while the occasional use of keyboards and strings adds a cinematic quality to the music. Standout tracks include the atmospheric "Still So Many Lives Away" and the funky, grooving "Electric Sun". Electric Sun's debut album is a must-hear for fans of progressive rock and guitar-driven music.
