I'm surprised that some of you don't know Americas almost obsession with Nuclear Power in the 50's/60's and how they were afraid that they'd get bombed. I remember sitting in history class watching old films of what to do if you're in school and you are about to get bombed by a nuclear bomb. This is what Fallout is kinda based around a once real fear Americans had and still kinda have lol.
