Review by Marco Frattola

The album, The St Louis Blues In The Heart Of Hawaii by Frank Ferera, is a unique blend of two distinct musical genres - blues and Hawaiian. The album features Ferera's mastery of the Hawaiian guitar, accompanied by his band, playing bluesy melodies with a distinct Hawaiian flavor.

The album opens with the title track, St Louis Blues, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The bluesy guitar riffs are infused with Hawaiian rhythms, creating a sound that is both familiar and exotic. The album also features several covers of classic blues songs, such as "Careless Love" and "Frankie and Johnny," which are given a fresh interpretation with Ferera's Hawaiian guitar.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Honolulu Blues," which showcases Ferera's virtuosity on the guitar. The song starts off slow and mournful, but gradually builds up to a frenzied climax, with Ferera's fingers flying over the strings.
