Review by iSoft Bytes

The Legendary New Orleans Cornet by Freddie Keppard is a captivating album that transports listeners back to the early days of jazz music in New Orleans. The album features Keppard's impressive cornet playing, which is both lively and soulful, and is complemented by the talented musicians accompanying him.

From the upbeat rhythms of "Stockyard Strut" to the melancholic melodies of "Salty Dog," the album showcases Keppard's versatility as a musician. The album also includes several tracks that highlight the influence of blues music on early jazz, such as "High Fever Blues" and "Messin' Around."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Tom Brown's Buddy," which features Keppard's impressive cornet solos and showcases his mastery of the instrument. Another highlight is "Willie the Weeper," a classic jazz tune that is given new life by Keppard's interpretation.
